PIA of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Marks 30 Years of CIC Program

 

PIA of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, partnering with the Society of CIC, began conducting the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) Program 30 years ago. Today, there are more than 30,000 designated CICs and the program is conducted in Puerto Rico and all 50 states.

“Recognition of the CIC designation has spread exponentially during the past 30 years,” Marcos Genemaras Rivera, CISR stated.   In conferring and congratulating the newest designees, Dr. William T. Hold, CIC, CPCU, CLU said, “Today, the designation is widely respected as a symbol of advanced knowledge and achievement.” There are currently 251 CICs in Puerto Rico with more than 641 participating in the program.
