In one of her last official acts as president, Donna Pile presented three Presidential Citations to individuals for their outstanding efforts in support of PIA National.

Assistant Vice President of Communications Alexi Papandon was honored for his exceptional efforts and achievements in assisting PIA’s communications activities, including as manager of the PIA National website, program manager and driving force of the PIA Branding Program and for his work with the Affiliate Relations Committee.

Outgoing President of the President’s Advisory Board Cindy Steinbach (WI) was honored for her work in rejuvenating the PAB and her efforts to facilitate better communication among the state leaders, state affiliates and PIA National. Cindy’s dynamic spirit and work ethic brought our level of communication with affiliate Presidents and boards to an all time high point. 

PIA of Florida Executive Vice President Mark O’Connell was cited for his efforts to improve affiliate relations and relationships among state executives, state leaders and PIA National. Mark was especially instrumental in organizing the Florida Insurance Council panel with PIA. His work this year was above and beyond.
