Flanders to Attend Fall NAIC Meeting

PIA National Regulatory Affairs Committee Chairman Don Flanders will attend the NAIC Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C. at the invitation of New Hampshire Commissioner and NAIC Vice President, Roger Sevigny. Chairman Flanders plans to attend several meetings over the weekend of September 29 to discuss issues pertaining to producer licensing, terrorism insurance and natural catastrophes.

Chairman Flanders’ participation in the NAIC meetings comes just two weeks after the Regulatory Affairs Committee met in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Committee discussed producer-licensing issues extensively, with a particular focus on business entity and individual licenses.  RAC members also discussed a potential code of ethics for producers.
