PIA’s Don Flanders Honored as PIAPAC Person of the Year

 

PIA National’s Don Flanders was named Person of the Year by the Professional Insurance Agents Political Action Committee (PIAPAC). The honor was bestowed April 7 during the annual PIAPAC fundraising dinner on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

Flanders is the PIA national director from New Hampshire and is chairman of the PIA National Regulatory Affairs Committee. He serves as vice chairman of the PIAPAC Committee, is a Republican State Representative in the New Hampshire legislature and a member of the executive committee of the National Conference of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL).

“As a past recipient of this award, it gives me great pleasure to present this distinguished award to a very deserving individual,” said PIAPAC Chairman Bob Gyle. “We are fortunate to have Don as a member of our PIAPAC family. His dedication and constant support are greatly appreciated by everyone.”

Charlie Cook, Editor and Publisher of The Cook Political Report, was the featured speaker at the PIAPAC fundraising dinner. Cook is a columnist for the National Journal magazine and CongressDailyAM and an analyst for NBC News as well as CNBC and MSNBC.
