In the wake of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the PIA National Business Issues Committee has created this special section of PIAnet which includes current reference materials and other resources compiled by PIA.

The risk management discussions presented in the documents developed and formalized by PIA (along with support from our E&O carriers) are intended as suggested practice guidance for PIA members who are addressing coverage questions and pollution considerations concerning, but not necessarily limited to, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

PIA National has also requested that insurance forms organizations share with us any current reference materials that they have on any related insurance coverage, underwriting and claims matters. These resources will be added to this section on an ongoing basis.
